Lindsay Keeter, M.A., LAC
Founder & Counselor of Unmask Counseling LLC
Welcome to Unmask Counseling. My name is Lindsay Keeter (she/her/hers). I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (#A2507026) and the founder of Unmask Counseling—where embracing your authentic self isn’t just encouraged, it’s celebrated. My passion is helping people who feel marginalized, misunderstood, or disconnected reconnect with their sense of place, purpose, and self.
My counseling style is grounded in compassion, honesty, and realness. I integrate evidence-based practices with a down-to-earth, human approach—because therapy should feel supportive, not intimidating. I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, identity exploration, and life’s transitions. My goal is to empower you, challenge you when needed, and walk alongside you as you rebuild trust in yourself.
As a neurodivergent-affirming therapist, I view brains as beautifully varied, not broken. I work from the belief that ADHD, autism, sensory differences, and other forms of neurodivergence are natural expressions of human diversity, not deficits to be “fixed.”
I affirm and support LGBTQ+ individuals, those in poly or kink communities, and those who are secular or non-religious, creating an accepting space that supports self-worth and healing.
My educational background includes advanced degrees in Sociology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have spent over a decade in Arkansas, working in various community mental health and school settings as a case manager, behavioral health paraprofessional, and counselor. Currently, I work full-time as a mental health counselor at a local university. When I am not counseling, I like to spend time with my family, our five rescue animals, strength training, and listening to rock music!
